We would like to inform you of upcoming changes to our pricing structure that will be effective from 1 July 2025. This adjustment will involve a price increase for all .nz domain names (including .co.nz, .org.nz, etc.) and .com domain names.
1st Domains has been notified by InternetNZ (who sell domain names to Registrars like 1st Domains) that they are increasing the wholesale fees for domain names by approximately 22%. We expect that most Registrars in the industry are likely to pass on this increase to customers. In addition to the price increases from our suppliers, we have experienced rises in general business and operational costs. While we strive to minimise these adjustments, they are necessary to continue providing the high-quality service and support you expect from us.
Updated Pricing Details (Effective 1 July 2025):
Number of Active Domains | 1 Year Registration & Renewal Price (excl GST) | |

You can lock in current prices by renewing your domain names for up to 10 years before the new rates take effect on 1 July. Renewing now allows you to avoid the upcoming price increase and secure your domains at a lower rate.
